Weather Update
Last week brought some refreshing rain, breathing new life into the landscape and creating a beautiful, lush setting. This week, we’re seeing even more greenery flourish under the warm African sun. Mornings remain mild, and evenings are perfect for unwinding by the fire. There’s something truly magical about the change of seasons, and it’s all adding to the unique charm of this time of year.
Hunting Highlights from Hendrik
The past week was filled with a balance of trophy and meat hunting, giving everyone a chance to enjoy a variety of experiences. Many of the photos you’ll see highlight the thrill of trophy hunts, while myself and a colleague were also involved in meat hunting—our oryx photo being one of the memorable moments from those efforts. With both seasoned hunters and first-timers joining us, it’s been fantastic to watch the group bond over shared successes, forming strong connections in the bush.
Camp Updates
We made a few enhancements around the lodge last week, adding thoughtful touches for our guests to enjoy. This week, we continue our efforts to make each stay even more memorable. Our team is excited to keep these improvements coming, ensuring each visit feels as special as the last.
Smile of the Week
Our elephant-viewing trip from last week remains a favourite memory for everyone involved. The awe and joy of seeing these incredible animals up close created unforgettable smiles and brought the group even closer. As we head into this week, those cherished moments have set a wonderful tone for all the adventures still to come.
