Namibia Is Alive — And So Is Our Season
The 2026 season has started with momentum. Good rain across Namibia has strengthened the veld and the game, and camp is already full with returning hunters and new faces from across Europe. Hendrik Junior is leading confidently in the field, the team is running at full pace behind the scenes, and standards remain high. It’s busy, it’s honest, and it’s shaping up to be a strong Namibian season.
Hello From Me
The season is properly underway and our safari is alive again.
It’s been full pace already. Airport collections in Windhoek, camps running smoothly, vehicles moving between concessions, early mornings and long days. This is the rhythm of the season — and I’m pleased with how it’s unfolding.
It’s a good year to be hunting in Namibia.
– Hendrik Botha
What We’re Seeing in the Veld
The rain has changed the rhythm of the hunt. The bush is thicker in places, which means you don’t simply glass from a distance — you walk. You read spoor. You work the wind. Stalks take longer. Patience matters.
We’re operating in the south, central Namibia and up north. Different terrain. Different soil. Different movement patterns. The quality of game we’re seeing early in the season is strong. Mature animals are presenting themselves — but only to those prepared to put in the work.
That’s how we prefer it.
Hendrik Junior in the Field
Most of our guests are hunting with Hendrik Junior this season. Many of you know him well — you’ve walked the veld with him, shared the fire, and trusted him with your hunt. He’s my right-hand man.
He carries real responsibility now, and he carries it properly. Calm under pressure. Never rushed. Always thinking ahead. We speak constantly about animals and decisions — nothing is taken lightly.
We don’t hunt for numbers. We hunt for the right animal. Age and quality come first. If it’s not right, we walk away. That discipline protects our name — and I’m proud of the way he represents it in the veld.
The Team Behind the Experience
A successful safari does not run on one person. Our trackers know this ground. Camp staff are up before first light getting coffee ready and fires going. The kitchen keeps camp warm and welcoming. The skinning shed runs clean and organised. Vehicles are checked daily because gravel roads demand it.
Everything works because everyone works. I value this team deeply. Their consistency allows us to deliver a high standard season after season.
Hunters in Camp
Right now we have 12 hunters from Holland, along with guests from Serbia, Romania and Germany. Camp is full in the evenings — stories around the fire, friendly competition between rifles, plans for the next morning.
Many of these men have been here before. They know the land. They know us. And over time, hunters become friends. That loyalty means more to me than anything else in this business.
A Personal Thank You
To every hunter who has trusted us this season — thank you. To those who return year after year — your loyalty does not go unnoticed.
And to those planning your first safari with us — we are ready for you. In a competitive industry, trust matters. And I am grateful for yours.
Book Your Safari
The calendar is moving quickly. Prime weeks for 2026 are filling, and enquiries for 2027 have already started. After a rain season like this, interest is strong.
We don’t overbook. We don’t overcrowd. We focus on quality, proper management, and personal attention.
If Namibia is on your list, speak to me directly.
A Thought from Namibia
Namibia rewards patience. You walk. You watch the wind. You read the ground. You wait for the right opportunity. That’s how we hunt here.
And that’s why our hunters keep coming back.
Warm regards,
Hendrik
