Hello, friends of Hendrik and Trudi Safaris!
As we near the end of the year, we’re cherishing every moment with our current group of hunters. This week has been one to remember—seven friends from the same neighborhood have joined us, bringing laughter, camaraderie, and a lot of singing in the rain! It’s been a true celebration of friendship, adventure, and the unique magic of the African bushveld.

Weather Watch
The rain continues to bless us, turning the landscape lush and vibrant. The sound of raindrops on the thatched roofs, paired with the laughter of our guests, creates an atmosphere of pure joy. There’s something truly special about hunting in these conditions—it’s an adventure in every sense of the word!
Hunting News from Hendrik
Hendrik shares, “There’s something magical about seeing someone’s first hunt—the excitement, the pride, and the way they connect with the land. These are moments that stay with you forever.”
Photo Higlights & Stories
Our group has had some incredible experiences, and here are just a few highlights:
Phillip’s First Impala
Meet Phillip! It’s his first time in Africa and his very first hunt. Phillip shot his first Impala this week, and his joy was contagious. He’s soaking in every moment of the bushveld, and we couldn’t be prouder of how well he’s doing.
Phillip’s Chevy Connection
In this picture, Phillip is admiring his Impala. He joked that the only Impala he knew before this was the Chevrolet. Seeing one up close for the first time left him in awe!
Bernd’s Big Moment
Bernd also shot his first Impala, and it was so impressive that even our guides insisted on taking a photo with him! They plan to share this picture with their families back home—it’s not every day you get to be part of a hunt like this.
A Father-Son Memory
This heartfelt photo captures Phillip and his father, Heinrich, celebrating Phillip’s first red hartebeest. It’s a moment of pride for Heinrich and a memory they’ll both treasure forever. As Hendrik says, “There’s nothing quite like sharing the bush with family for the first time.”
Developments
We’re wrapping up the year with this fantastic group, and their energy has inspired us to make the final weeks of the season truly unforgettable. As always, we’re finding new ways to make every guest’s experience unique and memorable.
Closing Thought
As the rain nourishes the land, it also nourishes our spirits. Hendrik reminds us, “It’s not just about the hunt; it’s about the stories, the connections, and the memories we make together.”
Thank you for being part of our journey, and we look forward to sharing more adventures with you in the weeks to come. Until next time, may your days be as joyful as the laughter we’ve shared in the bush this week.
Warm regards,
Hendrik and Trudi
