I want to personally welcome you to our July update — a month that’s been as rewarding as it’s been busy. Our teams have been out in different parts of the south with hunters from across the globe, enjoying incredible springbok activity and making unforgettable memories. We’ve also been working hard behind the scenes opening our new shop, which we’ll share more of soon! Thank you for following our journey. You are part of our story — and we never take that for granted.

The Bush Telegraph
Winter is loosening its grip and spring is slowly stirring. We’ve had a bit of rain — the last of the winter drizzle — and the mornings and afternoons are now warm, calm, and full of promise.
With big herds of springbok moving through the south, and international hunters keeping our teams busy across multiple regions, it’s been a vibrant and active season. From eland to giraffe, warthogs to oryx — July has delivered some memorable moments for all our guests.

Hendrik Adventure Tours
The Adventure Tour team is preparing for two unforgettable “12 Days in Heaven” tours taking place:

Smile of the Week 😄
While taking a lunch break tracking for kudu near the koppies, one of our rangers caught a baboon casually helping himself to a hunter’s leftover sandwich — wrapper and all! He even gave us a cheeky look before vanishing into the trees, sandwich in hand. Lesson learned: baboons have no table manners!
